MBD has developed technical partnerships with other firms and individuals to
provide further technical assistance in areas beyond our core competencies.
Additional staff are drawn from a network of experts that have long-standing
relationships with MBD. This allows MBD to move rapidly when developing
products that require a multidisciplinary approach. The following are
examples of some of the partnerships that MBD uses on to staff
multidisciplinary project:
TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS via
Technical Alliance Bridge (TAB)
TAB is an alliance of diverse consultants that work together on an as needed basis. Each member is an
expert that works independently or owns their own consulting firm.
It is based in Silicon Valley and each member has niche expertise valued by that hi-tech community.
This alliance can provide access to hard to find experts to niche technologies.

were associates at former employers/clients

This class is taught at the UC Berkeley in the School of Engineering. Many of the over 700 students have gone
on to become venture capitalists, corporate leaders, engineering managers, and consultants to the hi-tech
industries.
By keeping in touch with former students, access to the technical and entrepreneurial forefront is maintained.
