Mechanical Systems and Instrumentation Specialist
Focused on bringing devices, apparatus, and microprocessor controlled instruments to market. Strong emphasis on mechanical engineering and manufacturability with experience in setting-up operations worldwide.

Automation & Mechanisms Specialist
Developed robotic and automation systems as end products or as manufacturing equipment. Mechanisms designed have been used in clinical laboratories, accelerated genome research, highly automated assembly lines for FDA approved instruments.

Materials & Consumables Specialist
Engineered implants, consumables, and hi volume parts up to 1 mil/mo. Installed lines for molding, vacuum/pressure forming, extruding, dip forming, foams, stamping, bonding, RF, and ultra-sonic. Designed for fluoropolymers, silicones, elastomers, and epoxies.

Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist
Specializes in electro-mechanical, electronic, and embedded systems. Designs instrumentation from hand held devices, desktop instruments, through installed capital equipment.

Medical Devices with Consumables Specialist
Design and development of instruments that use consumables which must meet FDA and overseas regulatory approval. Specializes in plastic molded consumables and diagnostic systems.

Mechanical Design, Documentation, & CAD Specialist
Developed detail design solutions for clinical and research lab products from industrial design concepts. Strong emphasis on molded part design and materials. Specialized in complete and accurate documentation packages, ready for manufacturing, using the latest CAD software.

Heat Transfer & Fluids Specialist
Design and development of instrumentation for the biotech and biomedical industries. Specialized in analysis of thermal systems and fluid flows.

Industrial Design & Ergonomics Specialist
Extensive experience in Industrial Design, Ergonomics, Human Factors, and Mechanical Design. Diverse product designing for consumer products, medical, bio-laboratory equipment and high tech tools. High degree of special aptitude and creativity.

Electronics & Controls Specialist
Expert in Digital and Analog circuitry, Control Algorithms and Microprocessor Embedded Firmware. Experience spans a broad array of application areas including telecommunications, industrial controls, scientific instrumentation and medical electronics.

Embedded Code Engineering Specialist
Design and implementation of embedded system software, from the User Interface (UI) down to the boot strap code. Design and implementation of custom diagnostics for embedded systems, Power ON Self Test, Reliabitlity, Bring-up tools, Manufacturing wake-up, burn-in, and Final systems tests.

Lasers & Optics Specialist
Designs imaging, laser, and optics based systems for both capital equipment and small devices. Developed closed loop instrumentation that has hi-speed responses from sensor input to corrective action.

MEMS & Microfluids Specialist
Specializing in MEMS, miniaturization., lab-on-a-chip, optical interfaces, hi-volume disposables, micro-channel flow and capillary electrophoresis. Issued patents cover nanoliter injections and optical alignment to within 5 microns on a disposable, and cassette based diagnostic systems. Projects included consistent fluid dispensing to 1, 536 well microtiter plate.

Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Specialist
Extensive hands-on background in FDA device submissions, worldwide regulatory compliance and quality management systems. Assisting with the development of the FDA Book of Hazards and an advisory board member to TUV.

Chemistry Integration Specialist
Developed tests and assays using analytical techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology, with focus on separation methods including HPLC, LC-MS and electrophoresis. Developed assays used on consumables normally done by separation science capital equipment.

Process Development & Controls Specialist
Process, process control, and equipment development for production in the biotech, diagnostic, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. Large and small operations included manufacturing of specialty chemistries, unique materials, disposable devices, and hi volume packaging.
