Design and development of instruments that use consumables which must meet FDA and overseas regulatory approval. Specializes in plastic molded consumables and diagnostic systems.

corrective action.
MEMS & Microfluids Specialist
Specializing in MEMS, miniaturization., lab-on-a-chip, optical interfaces, hi-volume disposables, micro-channel flow and capillary electrophoresis. Issued patents cover nanoliter
injections and optical alignment to within 5 microns on a disposable, and cassette based diagnostic systems. Projects included consistent fluid dispensing to 1, 536 well microtiter
plate.
Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Specialist
Extensive hands-on background in FDA device submissions, worldwide regulatory compliance and quality
management systems. Assisting with the development of the FDA Book of Hazards and an advisory board member to TUV.
Chemistry Integration Specialist
Developed tests and assays using analytical techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology, with focus
on separation methods including HPLC, LC-MS and electrophoresis.
Developed assays used on consumables normally done by separation science capital equipment.
